Reading this index
A provider is a registration, not an owner.
Providers are grouped by the provider ID the CQC records against each location, so two registrations sharing a trading name stay separate and a rebrand does not merge two organisations. The named provider is the legal entity in the register, which is not a claim about who ultimately owns or controls it. Registration counts are not a quality signal, and no CQC rating is reproduced here. To browse by place instead, start from the local-authority directory.
